Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do we have to wear masks?

A: Masks are not required. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, if you are displaying any symptoms as outlined by the CDC guidelines, we ask that you please refrain from visiting the display.

Q: How do we send a letter to Santa?

A: Letters to Santa can be put in the slot at Santa’s Post Office on the left side of the display. Make sure that there is a return address so that Santa knows where to send your letter! December 21, 2021 is the deadline for all Santa letters, to be sure that Santa has time to respond before he prepares to leave Christmas Eve to deliver presents!

Q: Does visiting cost any money?

A: Our display will always be free, pictures will always be free, but if you choose to donate…you are truly helping some amazing families and organizations.

Q: How high is your light bill?

A: All right… Here we go! The number one question we always get from visitors is how much is your power bill?

Last year, from 11/19/2021 to 12/26/2021 (last day of lights), our total electric bill was $347. Yeah, we added more lights, had 21 Christmas trees inside, and built a pool that is heated and we were $130 cheaper than last year. I have no idea how we did that but we’re not complaining! The bill for the entire duration of the display is less expensive than our single August A/C bill.

I can’t express how much money you will save converting your displays to LED. Learn when the clearance shopping begins and hit those stores quick! It definitely pays off! We are probably about 95% led and working towards 100%

Q: How long does it take to put up the display every year?

A: We start gluing lights on while setting up for Halloween. Then the day after Halloween, we start tearing down the Halloween display and putting up the Christmas display. The display officially opens the first week of December.
